We’re open! The last 2 months have absolutely flown by; we’ve completed the deep clean and repairs and are now ready to welcome back our furry friends for what is shaping up to be a busy season. We’re looking forward to welcoming you all to the Cat’s Whiskers – existing customers and those who’ll be coming to us for the first time.
In terms of the future, the sale of the Cat’s Whiskers is still going through and we have everything firmly crossed that it will have new owners from around the beginning of May. So we’re taking bookings for the remainder of the year and should be able to confirm these as definite very shortly. We have many new customers this year, which is lovely for the new owners who’ll be taking over a busy, thriving cattery.

Hello and welcome to The Cat’s Whiskers.
It’s almost 18 months since we took over the running of The Cat’s Whiskers and what a busy time it’s been. We didn’t quite appreciate what we were letting ourselves in for, both in terms of the work involved to complete refurbishments, and in how busy it keeps us on a day-to-day basis. We’ve both lost lots of weight and are almost certainly fitter and healthier than 18 months ago! And we’re enjoying our new work and lifestyle, especially meeting you and your feline companions.
We’ve picked up a lot of new customers on the way, many of them coming to us based on personal recommendation. We now have customers from as far away as Hunstanton, Cambridge, Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds – good news travels far and fast!
The extension to the bungalow is now complete and we’re turning our attention to the garden, having fun visiting the many local garden centres to choose a lovely selection of plants.
And resident cat Sonny is loving his new accommodation and relishing the peaceful outdoor space. He can often be found on the cattery roof or terrorising the cat from next door! He is a very happy cat who has settled so well into his new surroundings.
We’d like to assure you that we remain completely committed to providing the best possible experience for your cat when they’re staying with us. We’d like to think it’s home from home for them and we promise to look after them with all the love, care and attention that you give them at home.
The Cat's Whiskers Prices
1 Cat – £14 per day
2 Cats – £20 per day
3 Cats – £25 per day
Each Additional Cat (sharing a pen) above 3 – £5 per day
Minimum price per stay – £50
An additional daily charge may be incurred if your cat requires complex medical treatment (price dependent on discussion with owner).
